A journey shaped by lived experience, relentless learning, and an unwavering belief that every child deserves to be understood before they are expected to change.
Mini's story began with numbers and codes — a Mathematics degree, a postgraduate degree in Computer Science, and over a decade thriving as a software engineer, her mind weaving through bits and bytes.
Then in 2008, everything shifted: her son was diagnosed with Autism. Like every parent, she went searching for answers that went beyond conventional therapy. That search became a lifelong commitment — not only to her own child, but eventually to thousands of families who would walk through her doors.
She stepped away from her decade-long career, completed a Diploma in Special Education focused on Autism, and in 2012 founded PlayStreet in Bengaluru. She chose not to limit herself to one discipline, but to learn from many — relationships, neuroscience, motor development, sensory processing, trauma, communication, feeding, attachment. Every course added another piece to the puzzle; every family she worked with refined her understanding further.

Today, nearly two decades on, that integration of disciplines has become one developmental framework — and PlayStreet has grown from a single clinic into an ecosystem of programs, parent empowerment, professional training, and the iBwe platform: the next chapter of the same journey, bringing everything she's learned into one connected, accessible way of understanding a child.

For more than a decade, PlayStreet has evolved by listening closely to children, families, and professionals. What began as a clinic in 2012 gradually grew into integrated programs, parent empowerment, professional training, technology, relationship-based approaches, and online learning.
Each step taught Mini something new about how children grow, and about what families actually need to support that growth. I Am Because We Are (iBwe) is the next chapter — bringing these experiences together into a more connected, accessible, and meaningful way of understanding the child.

An international online summit held every April during World Autism Awareness Month, bringing together global experts and pioneers in the field of autism to share knowledge and insight.
Mobile Applications
PlayTalk, an Android app fostering communication for non-verbal individuals, and GoalTrack, an app for monitoring and tracking student progress — both built by Mini and her team.
A Gift of Friendship
Initiated to inspire college students and young professionals to become leaders, autism advocates, and supporters of children with autism on campuses and in local communities.
iBwe — I Am Because We Are
An on-demand course platform for a relationships, movement, and consciousness-informed approach to autism. All of Mini's programs are now delivered through iBwe.
